Hale’s Bill’sner Pils is named after a long time Hale’s employee, Bill Preib, who, along with other Hale’s crew members, developed a growing appreciation for the crisp, cool taste of a pilsner, especially as an alternative to the ubiquitous strong and assertively hopped India Pale Ales so prevalent in the NW craft beer scene. “Strike that from the bucket list,” said Preib, “…a beer with my name on it. If only mom could see me now!”
